O Vizită Specială la Căminul de Bătrâni

Luni, 14 aprilie, i-am dus pe copii în vizită la un cămin de bătrâni din zonă, unde am realizat decorațiuni de Paște și am împărțit pachete cu alimente. Rezidenții au fost profund emoționați, iar copiilor le-a plăcut foarte mult această experiență. Fiecare copil a fost repartizat alături de un voluntar adult, iar în echipe i-am ajutat pe rezidenți să realizeze decorațiunile, apoi am petrecut timp împreună cu ei. Unele dintre legăturile create între copii și rezidenți au fost deosebit de emoționante.

A fost o amintire frumoasă despre puterea bunătății și despre cum conexiunile între generații pot lăsa impresii de durată asupra tuturor celor implicați.
Suntem foarte mândri de elevii noștri pentru că au slujit din toata inima.

A Special Visit to the Nursing Home

On Monday, April 14^th, we took the kids to visit a local nursing home, where we made Easter crafts and handed out food packages. The residents were so touched, and the kids really enjoyed the experience too. Each child was paired with an adult volunteer and in teams we helped the residents to make the craft and then spent time visiting with them.  Some of the connections made by the children and the residents were especially touching.  

It was a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness, and how intergenerational connections can leave lasting impressions on everyone involved.  We’re so proud of our students for serving with such open hearts.
